Seoul, South Korea

Gosh.. We are actually here! This trip has been on our itinerary since Sarah and I began dating!

We flew out from Atlanta on January 10th, and after 15 hours of sitting on a plane, we finally landed in Seoul. Once we actually got into the city, I have been constantly blown away. The Seoul capital area is the second largest metropolitan in the world with more than 25.6 million people and it is the sixth largest city IN THE WORLD. So, needless to say... There is A LOT to do here!

From what seems like thousands of cafes, to the mountains surrounding the city, we will have no shortage of incredible things to explore and see.

This trip means a lot to both of us for multiple reasons. Sarah has grown up going back and forth to South Korea for most of her life (The last time she was here was in 2018), so this is practically a second home for her. Being able to see old friends, and even spend time with family here has been amazing.

Fortunately for me, this means I have my own personal tour guide! This trip also checks off one of my biggest bucket list items: Traveling to Asia!

Our travel style is very go-with-the-flow, so right now all we have planned is to stay in Seoul for 2 weeks (We might stay longer but move to another part of the city). So over those two weeks, we will be exploring a few of the different districts of the city

  • Itaewon - Yongsangu

  • Hongdae - Mapogu

  • Gangnamgu

  • Jongnogu

  • Yeongdeungpo-gu

We’ll have a blog post coming about all of our favorite things we’ve explored, and visited!

Really looking forward to sharing more of this amazing city with you all over the next two weeks!

Stay tuned for what’s coming next, cause we’ve got 4 months of traveling to do!
