Nagano is a city that isn’t really flooded with foreigners. We really enjoyed our travel to Nagano, especially because we were in the mountains and close to the Northern Alps.

Fukuoka is the capital of Fukuoka Prefecture. It is the sixth largest city in Japan and is known for its abundance of ancient temples, beaches, and modern shopping malls, including Canal City.

If you are short on time, there is an option to get a Fukuoka Tourist Pass. The Fukuoka Tourist Pass is only available to foreign visitors on a short-stay visa.

We took a JR train from Nagano to JR Matsumoto to spend a day exploring the city of Matsumoto. Matsumoto is the second largest city in the Nagano Prefecture. It is best known for its original castle and the beautiful Japanese Northern Alps. Although this will be a short blog post, we wanted to share the things we did and places we went for the day.
